Rosener swept to victory without opposition in November, bringing with him four members of the Sherwood City Council, all of whom won in unchallenged races as well. He will succeed Keith Mays, who ran for a four-year term as a city councilor instead of seeking another term as mayor.

Council President Tim Rosener filed to run for mayor and is the lone candidate following the closure of the application process on Aug. 30 for both council and mayor positions. Rosener has served as council president for the last five years.

In between being a Dad, volunteering for our community as your Council President, and serving on the Board of the Sherwood Education Foundation and Oregon Space Camp adventures, I am a proud member of the Pirates of Pinehurst Council of Scalawags that bring the epic Pirates of Pinehurst Halloween shows to Sherwood. Sherwood urges Metro to make Highway 99W a top priority.
