Tim Rosener grew up in Sherwood, where his love for the community began. After serving in the Air Force, Tim built a successful career as a software engineer and small business owner, focusing on helping local governments improve efficiency and transparency. Now the Sherwood City Council President, Tim brings decades of leadership experience to serve his community. His commitment to family, public service, and Sherwood’s future drives his work as a community leader.

Rosener swept to victory without opposition in November, bringing with him four members of the Sherwood City Council, all of whom won in unchallenged races as well. He will succeed Keith Mays, who ran for a four-year term as a city councilor instead of seeking another term as mayor.
Council President Tim Rosener filed to run for mayor and is the lone candidate following the closure of the application process on Aug. 30 for both council and mayor positions. Rosener has served as council president for the last five years.
