Coffee with a Councilor?

Democracy cannot succeed unless those who express their choice are prepared to choose wisely. The real safeguard of democracy, therefore, is education.
— Franklin D. Roosevelt

How do you want to connect?

What are you passionate about? What is your vision for the future of Sherwood? I want to know!

I am working hard to find creative ways to connect with the community. As elected officials, we have to do more than just make static information available on a website and expect residents to find the information. We have to find ways to provide data and solicit your feedback in ways that are compatible with your busy lives.

As your councilor, I will be focused on meeting the challenges that we face today and ensuring that we are set up for success in the future. I have the following goals:

  • Restore confidence in local government and its leaders.
  • Champion "traffic calming" and traffic congestion solutions that enhance safety and livability.
  • Ensure the safety of our students as we build a new high school.
  • Promote, encourage, and nurture our incredible cultural and performing arts programs.
  • Focus growth on projects that are compatible with our community values.
  • Promote stable funding sources that do not put additional tax burdens on our citizens.
  • Rebuild a strong partnership with the YMCA.
  • Find stable funding for the senior center and enhance programming.

Let me know what you think!

I encourage all of you to connect with me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, whatever works best for you. You can find links on this page.
